Facebook issued a statement on Friday that it was hit with a "sophisticated attack" in January, but no user data was compromised. The attack was caused when Facebook employees visited a malicious website that installed malware onto their computers. "Last month, Facebook Security discovered that our systems had been targeted in a sophisticated attack," the company said in an official blog post. "This attack occurred when a handful of employees visited a mobile developer website that was compromised. The compromised website hosted an exploit which then allowed malware to be installed on these employee laptops."...
